Black Friday Adventure!

I had a fun Thanksgiving that consisted of going to the club with the family for brunch, playing Wii, watching football, eating more soup & family game night!
Now, I am ready for the real fun to start... ;)

In fifteen minutes I am setting out on an adventure with my sister to....Target! For the midnight opening and the Black Friday doorbusters none of which I want/need/will buy. Come on, everyone knows it's just fun to watch the madness and the seriousness of some of the crazies that wait 364 days for this one day to arrive and have to get every deal in the store..right?! Well, that is at least why I go!

Here's a hint at what my next post will be on!

Anyone recognize what I tried to copy from Pinterest?? I know, you're DYING to know what my shouting's all about. Well you'll just have to wait until tomorrow! ;)

Happy Thanksgiving! I hope it was filled with a food, family and happiness!

It's Gettin' Crafty In Here

I have been super excited to do this little craft project since I saw the first picture of it on Pinterest. If you've been wanting to try it but don't have the time, I promise it takes all of ten minutes!
Materials

There are many color combinations you could try but for my first I wanted to do the rainbow.

Hot glue the crayons onto the canvas.

Oops, I started on low temperature and didn't angle it down so this started happening-be careful!

Ahhh that's better; set your hairdryer on hot and high and they will begin to melt. (Yes, that is a zebra hairdryer..permission to make fun of me..)

Of course you can stop here if you want, I wanted to go a liiiitle further.

Done!

Love the upside down look!
Now put down your laptop and run to grab these supplies! It'll cost you about $10 and 10 minutes. Makes a great gift or piece for the house! This could also be a fun craft to do with your kids if you have any!

My Thanksgiving break starts in....

 5 hours!!!!
Hope you have a wonderful Holiday!

American Royal Wedding

If you haven't a clue what I am talking about, Lauren Bush (neice to George W) and David Lauren (son of designer Ralph Lauren) were married in September. Why am I posting about this now? Because photos from the wedding were just released! Yay! I absolutely love the rustic look to their wedding. I can't help but wonder how she feels about her name now being Lauren Lauren...eek!
I sure hope she liked her dress; according to Vouge, Ralph Lauren and his team spent 3000 hours designing and hand crafting it!
Love this.
What do you think about the duo?

Happy Thursday!

Get to Know Me!

I thought it was about time for another fun questionnaire, particularly if you have not been following me for too long. Hopefully this will help you to get to know me a little bit better!

WHAT IS YOUR BEACH?
The place that I find most relaxing is my grandfather's farm. There is no cell phone service, no internet access, no TV and it's a place where (among many other things) I can go to unplug. I love to ride four wheelers, walk along the shoreline and just be with my family.

As I plan my summer out for next year, I can't help but think about trying something new again this year as I did last summer with working at Camp Seafarer. Working at Seafarer was SUCH an amazing experience and I met many wonderful people but the schedule for next summer conflicts with several events that have been planned for years now; I was looking for an alternative that I would enjoy just as much and yet would still challenge me and then..

Last weekend I road-tripped up to Rockbridge in Goshen, VA for a Young Life camp weekend with my friends. I had so much fun and feel like the trip helped me grown spiritually, a feeling I've been hoping for for quite some time now. My YL leader gave my the idea to work as a volunteer at one of the YL camps this summer and I haven't been able to stop thinking about it since she mentioned it! I would work for the exact four weeks that are open in my summer (Second Session). I'm super excited about the idea of this! My parents, not so much but I'll work on them....oh, and it doesn't hurt that my friend wants to do this too!

Looks fun to me!

Thoughts?

Hope everyone's having a wonderful Wednesday!
